Koh Samui is an island in Surat Thani province in south-central Thailand. This is a paradise for couples to enjoy honeymoon. When is the best time?

Excluding the rainy season from October to December, you should go to Koh Samui any time of the year.

Koh Samui Travel  

Koh Samui has many beautiful beaches, but if you do not have a lot of time then you can choose the following 3 beaches:

Chaweng beach: long sea, smooth white sand, no sideways, very crowded. Therefore, resorts close to the sea are also very expensive. But the price of masage at Chaweng is cheaper than Maenam and Bophut. There are many options for staying here.

Bophut beach: white sand, slightly sideways, sandy granules larger than Chaweng, quiet resort appropriate.

Maenam beach: very quiet, golden sand, a little rough, go sideways. Room rates are also softer than other beaches.

In Bophut there is a fisherman Village weekend with a night market, people who like shopping and street food should go. In Maenam there is also a smaller night market,  You should try Goong Kata (a buffet with a hotpot).

Go Koh Tao Island

It must be said that Koh Tao is far away from the mainland, so if you have decided to come, it would be a whole week. If time is tight then Samui is better. Go to the hotel and stay at Sairee beach. Hin Ta and Hin Yai 

In the southern part of Lamai, you can see two huge rocks that local people call Hin Ta and Hin Yai, meaning “him” and “her.” The reason for this name is because the shape of these two stones looks quite similar to the genitals of men and women. Around that area the scenery is so beautiful, the water there would love to let you down to swim.

Angthong National Marine Park

This is a populations of islands, tropical forests and coastline stretching from North to South Koh Samui . From Ang Thong boat trips to the islands, small islands, visitors will be taken to Talay Nai to watch the colorful coral reefs and explore deep ocean floor with fascinating scenes.

Wat Khunaram, located some miles west of Lamai. What attracted many visitors to visit that is the flesh of a lost monk but still preserved intact. His name is Loung Pordaeng and he died in 1977. According to legend, he was sitting here meditating and then passing away. Many believe that it is because of his ability to meditate that he has kept his body intact until today.

In Koh Samui there are about 50 restaurants (not including restaurants in hotels) and countless eateries along the coast, some of the top rated restaurants are as follows:

– Five Island: sell seafood lunch and dinner, located on Taling Ngam.

– Hua Thanon Market: sell all kinds of things from 6 am to 6 pm, located in Lamai south.

– Rocky ‘S: international dishes, lunch and dinner, also in Lamai.

– Moso Bistro (Sawadee Restaurant).

In the Lamai Walking Street or Fisherman Village there is also a fine-dining restaurant.
