The area of the film crew chose to record Kong : Skull Island at the Tuan Chau (Ha Long) pier for nearly an hour by speedboat and scenic natural wonders.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province said that the location chosen by the film crew Kong: Skull Island to record is the Cau Ba (Ba Hang) area in Ha Long Bay.

This place is located near Ba Hang fishing village – one of the famous tourist spots of Halong Bay. According to a veteran boat operator of the Ha Long Bay Management Board, CLa Lake area has two beautiful lakes, surrounded by mountains. One lake has to climb the new mountain, but the other can row the boat through three caves and move so this area is called Ba Hang (vietnamese mean three caves).
